When opening MaxMSP to work on Zylia recordings, the center of the patch does not load.

It appears that you may be encountering a compatibility issue related to software architecture. MaxMSP utilizes the native macOS SDK, which requires us to recompile the plugin to a universal architecture for complete compatibility. However, we have a temporary solution for you to continue using Max version 8.2 or higher. You can run Max using Rosetta, a compatibility layer that allows running software designed for Intel-based Macs on Apple Silicon Macs.

To run Max using Rosetta, please follow these steps:

1. Right-click on the Max application.
2. Select “Get Info” from the context menu.
3. In the Info window, check the “Open using Rosetta” option.
4. Close the Info window.

By enabling Rosetta, you should be able to run Max version 8.2 or higher on your system.

If the issue persists even after using Rosetta, please ensure that the Renderer is installed correctly on your system. The Renderer is an essential component for MaxMSP, and its proper installation is necessary for the software to function correctly.
