ZYLIA ZR-1 Portable Recorder power requirements
The ZR-1 device can be powered via:
- Batteries: 8 x AA (1.5V) batteries of the same type and producer. Do not mix old and new batteries.
Rechargeable batteries of of NiMH type are also recommended.
To place the batteries open the lid located at the top of the ZR-1 and place the batteries with the proper orientation on the battery holder.
- External Power supply: Power bank or DC adapter that are able to provide 5V, 2.5A DC
To run the ZR-1 device on an external power supply unit, connect the power supply to the microUSB port on the front panel.
When using an external power supply it is also recommended to use good quality cables to fully power the device.
3. ZR-1 AC adapter and batteries
ZR-1 won’t power up only on the AC adapter. It will stay powered on when you remove the batteries afterward. Batteries can be flat, just to power on with an AC adapter.
