Is the ZM-1 software compatible with iPad, iPhone, or tablet?

Yes, the software version 3.0 of the ZM-1 driver supports Apple iPads with M1 or M2 silicon chips and requires iPad OS 16.1 or later. The app or driver is available only in the App Store for FREE! You may click on the link for more information: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/zylia-zm-1/id1664838968

The Zylia ZM-1 microphone is a powerful tool for recording high-quality audio, but it requires specific drivers to function correctly. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to support the ZM-1 on iPhones having M1 chip due to driver limitations. Apple does not provide DriverKit support for iPhones, which poses a challenge to use the ZM-1 with their devices.

DriverKit is a framework that allows developers to create drivers for hardware peripherals, and this framework is only available for macOS and iPadOS (M1 models), leaving iPhone users without the necessary support for ZM-1 microphone.

As technology evolves and new solutions become available, we remain committed to providing our users with the best possible experience. In the meantime, we recommend exploring alternative recording options that are compatible to meet your audio recording needs.

If you wish to use ZM-1 with a Windows tablet, your device must have the minimum system requirements below:

  1. Operating System: Windows 7, 10
  2. 64-bit Intel system
  3. Minimum 2GB RAM
  4. 2GB of free space for ZYLIA Studio installation
  5. Additional space will be required to store recorded files (25 minutes of recording made
using ZYLIA ZM-1 in WAV format occupies approximately 4GB).

Also, with ZYLIA Studio Remote Control feature you can remotely control the recording process by using a web browser in your smartphone or tablet. You only need to install the ZYLIA ZM-1 Windows 10 driver and ZYLIA Studio software on a tablet equipped with a 64-bit processor and 64-bit Windows operating system.
